Portal Logon page

portal logon page is in different language ( say German )
The cotent is in another language ( English )

REASON:
1.There is a user called J2EE_GUEST and the user's langaage must have been set to a
language -German ..you can remove this language selection from 'user administration'

2.Otherwise the browser default language might have been set.

In Visual composer UNION does not work as expected
Fact:This works actually as exected
The expectation is wrong !!It will not combine all the fields from different
data services and give you a collective result. It will only combine data from "SAME DATA TYPE" .

The expectation of all fields should be included is someting lik JOIN operation in DBMS terms and is not available in Visual Composer.

Points to remembed in VC translation process.

# Have you set resolve references to "yes" in the property category "translation worklist settings"

NW 7.0 NW 7.1 and NW 7.01 What are these

There are now many versions of Netweaver containing various features
NW04 and then NW04S (NW 7.0)are the mostly used versions currently

NW 7.1 is also called as NW CE (composite environment)
NW 7.01 !! is called NW Ehp1 (enhanced package)
NW 7.0 SP17 is the minium version that you should have to switch to this new version NW 7.01

Visual Composer Part1

Visual composer is an easy to use web based modelling tool.
It is available by default from NW04S SP8 installation.

VC URL: :/VC/default.jsp

Necessary roles : Administrator and VCRole

If you want to install VC in a version lower than NW04S SP8 then you can download from service market palace the following

Support Packages and Patches" => SAP NetWeaver" =>SAP Netweaver"=> SAPNetweavear 7.0"=> Entry by Component"=> Enterprise Portal

You have to intall the three components

1.Visual composer Base 7.00

2.Visual Composer Flex 7.00

3.Visual Composer Framework 7.00
